Oz more than a Wizard... now a serum for your beautiful face -- VEGAN, Cruelty Free and MADE IN USA

I don't know why I am drawn to Vitamin C serums so much. Probably because one of my first reviews was a Vitamin C Serum, it was thick, smelled like chew-able vitamin c's that my mom would get from GNC when we were little that she had learned about from my grandma, we didn't always get them. I think they were rather expensive. So I remember always getting a sample of these vitamin C when we went into GNC and when we went to Grandma's house and maybe once or twice we had a bottle or two at our house but not regularly. But this smell was a happy memory and one that until I typed it just now I did not associate with my grandma but it was her that introduced my mom. So the scent memory of that first vitamin C serum, I have been chasing since the first one. And it worked so well too. None since have matched up. So here is number four or five, who is counting at his point.

OZ Naturals Vitamin C 20% serum includes Ferulic Acid, Vitamin E, Hyarulonic Acid, and an Amino Blend. It does not have the sweet citrus smell I was hoping for but it left my clean skin smooth and soft, which is truly what we all want from our skin isn't it? It makes me #hippiehappy.

I received this product for free in return for my unbiased honest #hippiehappy or #nothippiehappy review.

Radha Beauty Vitamin C Serum Review

Radha Beauty has done something few other companies have done make high quality beauty without testing on animals, vegan completely organic skin care products that do what they claim they are going to do. When I would go down the aisle of my local grocery store beauty aisle the chemicals in the beauty products could easily be confused with something I would put in my car engine or in household cleaning products. This is my fourth product I have tried from their line and not my favorite Vitamin C serum I have tried (this is the third Vitamin C Serum I have used) but I failed to read the fine print until I was rereading their page when I was prepping for this blog so I cannot say that I am giving it the best review possible. It says for best results to use with a moisturizer, and my biggest complaint about this would be it was sticky almost glue like in consistency but it does not dry like that on my face. It dries nicely.

Their claims:

This exquisite Vitamin C Serum is guaranteed to leave your skin radiant and more youthful looking by neutralizing free radicals & is proven to stimulate collagen & reduce fine lines and wrinkles.Infused with 20% ACTIVE VITAMIN C - Clinical strength 20% vitamin c serum for your face + vegan hyaluronic acid is the absolute highest quality vitamin c serum available.USE WITH MOISTURIZER FOR BEST RESULTS - Use this powerful Vitamin C Serum with a high quality moisturizer like Radha Beauty Retinol Moisturizer. This cruelty free and organic Vitamin c serum does not contain alcohol, parabens or sulfates and is safe for all skin types.

I received this product in exchange for my #hippiehappy or #nothippiehappy review of their product.

What do all these facial product terms mean?

When I first started blogging about facial products, I was being sent a slew of products saying terms that I was not clear at all about what that meant in regards to my face and what it would do for my facial health.

Hyaluronic Acid-- "a naturally occurring polysaccharide (carbohydrate) in the human body. It’s present in large amounts in the spaces between skin cells, where it provides moisture, plumpness, firmness and suppleness to the skin." Dr. Oz blog.com

Serum--Typically more concentrated than a moisturizers and/ focus on a specific target area
Vitamin C-- "Acts as an antioxidant – The process of oxidation damages the skin cells. Vitamin C serums are rich in anti-oxidants that repair and renew the cells and give the skin a healthier look.
Helps produce collagen – Collagen binds the cells of our body. Vitamin C serum stimulates the synthesis of collagen in the skin which will give you a tighter, firmer and less sagged feel. It is a good first-step solution to treat the onset of wrinkles.
Restores and regenerates – Vitamin C attacks the free radicals in your body and does some hardcore damage management. If you have any acne scars left from your previous breakout, you’ll find them fading with regular application.
Protects you from the sun – Getting overexposed to the sun can cause hyperpigmentation and sun spotting. A vitamin C serum will counteract any harmful effect of the sun and also decrease the chances of skin cancer by thickening the dermis layer. But it is important to note that a vitamin c serum cannot replace your sunscreen. A sunscreen provides the much needed SPF protection by shielding the outer layer of the skin while the vitamin c serum acts as a sun barrier from within the skin. You should apply the sunscreen as well as the vitamin C serum before going outside for prolonged periods of time." The Derm Review.com
Retinol-- great anti-aging for people with acne and oily skin.

This week's product was provided free for a honest review for Tomoson for Adeline Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I use this product after my Noxema every night and every morning and love the silky smooth feel of my skin with this product. With my pores open the serum works to heal my skin and regenerate the few minor breakthrough breakouts that did occur during my period. This was a nice smell, consistency and overall great product that will join my list of recommendations to friends and family. I sat with my Aunti today telling her about this product. Thanks for lunch, I need more soup like that in my life! Winks. The other highlight of my day was my seeing my beautiful inside and out T-cuz at the Moon Co-op in Oxford, Ohio. Great conversation about great face products with some great gals. #hippiehappy
