I shouldn't cook potatoes or anything in the oven (or I'm now thin skinned like my grandma)
For some freaking reason I cannot make mashed potatoes without burning myself somehow. I am not kidding. I have scars to prove it. And so when I was asked to try a product for an honest review for Valentia Organic Rosehip Oil and one of the things I had read about it ahead of time is that it does not have the scent that you would expect-- and it does not. No Roses in these hips. OKay, this shows my ignorance because I had no idea what Rosehip oil was. I am a newbie to the organic oil scene and I figured I would figure it out with the internet and Pinterest.
So I did-- scars and wrinkles. With the aforementioned scent not being what I wanted near my face, I decided to use this oil on an area where I had scars and seem to get more cuts and scraps than any other place on my body-- my hands. I had a spot that was not fading as fast as I thought it would before I put the Rosehip oil on it. Now with a couple weeks of oil on my hands and the scar almost invisible with full disappearance within the month expected.

Even Glow Serum - Antioxidant Skin Treatment - 20% Vitamin C by Valentia Skin Care Review.
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Years ago when I was still a fresh face twenty something, I noticed one of my friends using anti-wrinkle cream. I wondered why she or more to the point we as wrinkle free girls would needs such a silly thing as wrinkle cream so young. That was for grandmas and old ladies. She said she had to start now to avoid the dreaded wrinkles. I thought she was crazy and I laughed it off. But obviously the scene stuck in my head and this blog now is not the first time I have thought of that day. Many days after that I thought, I should start early in protecting my skin from wrinkles.
Jump to present day, I am thirty-seven and have squint marks between my eyebrows, lines under my eyes and faint little lines outlining my smile and eyes. I like to think they give me character and I am aging beautifully. Then I tried Even Glow Serum Antioxidant Skin Treatment and like most people I was more than skeptical. I went thinking, it cant make it worse.
The scent is intoxicating and the glow it leaves instantly on your skin is noticeable on the first day. If that was all it did it would be worth the money. It is like waking up, washing up then spreading sunshine across your face. Then a few weeks into the usage an amazing thing happened. The little lines became littler and the deep indents became shallower. All without the feel of harsh chemicals or expensive plastic surgery.
I look forward to looking in the mirror for months to come to continue to see the GLOW and the years melt away and my years of procrastination regarding my face and wrinkle prevention!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
