I really feel like a kid waiting for Christmas to come, when I received my order confirmation today from FRAMEDART.COM which allows me to see where in the process they are with my beautiful art I picked out.

So I received my order confirmation today from Framed Art an amazing art and framing company. I was able to pick out every little detail from the double mat and each of their colors to the gorgeous cherry frame from among many options.I have to say that truly picking the art from tens of thousands of designs was the easiest part; coordinating the mats and frame seem to take an art degree in itself. But I am so happy with it. But it took the better part of an hour, but it was so much fun. I could totally spend thousands of dollars covering all my walls if I only had the money.




From order date to arriving on my door step the process took eleven days. The quality of the cherry frame is so pristine and lines up perfectly with the creme mat and the Jasmine Becket Griffith Fine Art Print. Everything is lined up flawlessly. This is that piece you hang on the wall and look at the little details in the art. You do not want someone to pick out a flaw in the framing and there is not one blemish in this creation! Bravo to Framedart.com I am so excited for my family to come over for the holidays ,not to eat my food but to see my new wall hanging by FRAMED ART!

I just ordered a new piece of art today. I am so excited. Here is the mock up of what it will look like.



It is a piece by Jasmine Becket-Griffith called Alice and the Mad Hatter. The company I am ordering through is FramedArt.com . I picked the fine art piece from what seemed like millions of options; chose the frame from many choices within each color frames-- black, brown, cherry, gold, silver and natural; mat colors and number choices; then finally glass or plexiglass; glare proof or standard. And this is just one path-- I could have chosen Canvas Art, My own framed photos, or art prints.

I will update this blog on how long the ordering process takes, what my framed art looks like with an unboxing video on youtube and the big reveal as soon as my package comes! I love this anticipation! And Christmas is almost here! (I get to decorate soon!)

I was approached by Fulcrum Gallery and asked to review their services. First of all I have never ordered from a framing or gallery online or in real life to be truthful. I have done my own framing or done horrible reframing of posters. Just recently my hubby and I have begun trying to use our own true style to create art reflective of our real likes, most of our "art" over the years has been a hodge podge of hand me downs that we liked more than plain white walls, kids pictures and posters as long as we could pull that off. But then we started finding pictures and frames and creating our own art. In the Arcade (adult rec room -- formerly known in the 70s as the front room, there are pictures created from pictures from maps and artwork from video games.

I digress. The most amazing part of the days I spent combing through their website was finding artist I had never heard of and finding amazing things I want on my walls as a grown up that does not come from the Home Interior Collection (no offense to these fine artists.) I found Jasmine Becket Griffith again, who I know I have seen numerous times but never remembered her name or didn't write it down. But now I had myriad of her artwork to choose from, I was like a 38 year old in a kick ass art gallery.

On March 23rd, I placed an order after many fun days of contemplating what I wanted. I received an email with a tracking device that told me where my order was in the process whether still in process or when it would leave the New Jersey location. Within a week it was shipped, and on the 3rd of April I received my Art. I have included the unboxing video and the picture on my wall. The black plastic frame, navy and white matte and art all look amazing and turned out exactly as I created online and in my mind. I still stop for moments each day just to admire her.
