The first time I used this was at a family picnic and it worked perfectly. Easily unfurled and laid out for us to sit on and kept our booties dry with the downside backing keeping us perfect. Then it folded up nicely and went back into its original form and Velcro-ed in a carry-able tote. Makes me super #hippiehappy if that was all I ever used it for. But then when a nerve in my neck/spine got pinched from a bulging disk. I used this help prop up my arm when i was down on my back trying to get some sleep/rest whenever the pain paused for a moment.
